Play Up / Play Down Policy

 

If a player wants to play up into a higher age level, (or play down into a lower age level) the following criteria must be met.

 

1. Registration numbers need to work for both affected age levels. Moving the player up cannot leave the lower age group short players to field a team. Moving the player up cannot give the higher age group too many players.  Acceptable roster sizes will be decided by CSA and will be dependent on registration numbers.

 

2.The player's skill level needs to be comparable with others in the same age group both for equity and player safety.  CSA will evaluate the player in question and have final say on all decisions.
